As a society, we have a responsibility to act in the best interest of our planet – a responsibility that many of us have forgotten. Today, the harsh effects of the climate crisis across the globe have become a constant reminder that we can no longer turn a blind eye.

Aligning with the strategic objectives of the UAE, the UICCA was formed in response to the urgency of the universal challenge we are facing, that affects every member of society and every sector of the economy. As an independent, non-partisan entity, our role is to serve as the nucleus that is enabling and energising an ecosystem that actively participates in finding practical solutions to address this challenge.

It’s my honour to be taking this mission forward, together with a team of passionate and driven subject-matter experts, who are united in their ambition to create true impact.  By advising policy developments, facilitating collaboration amongst the public and private sector, and catalysing green innovation, we are building a more sustainable future for generations to come.
